Thank You!

I can't say anthing that would come remotely close to the gratitude I feel for Bob Hunter and his wonderful family.  This picture is a snapshot of Bobbi and her daughter Emily on a magical day on the Toronto Islands.  You look out across Lake Ontario, and it's like looking out over the ocean... you cannot see the other side.  Bobbi and Bob... thank you for your inspiration, your friendship, and for adopting me... at least for a while... into your family.

After three days with the Hunter family I was totally renewed and knew that I would have no trouble driving home by myself. And so this I did, all the way to Canmore, stopping only to eat, sleep and play with Arta. At Canmore, Francie Cochran took me in for two days and got me a great interview in the Rocky Mountain Observer.  Thank you, Francie, for showing me this beautiful area. I'll be back!

Finally, I want to express the enormous gratitude I feel for our Prime Minister and  the many Members of Parliament who took the time to write and thank me for their copies of Hunter's book. Most of these letters came directly from our MPs, some even handwritten and many expressing a deep concern for the environment. We should all be proud of them for their courage  in supporting Kyoto and thus giving our planet a fighting chance.
