We are happy to see the reports of your trip across Canada.  Canada is an incredible country and I am sure you will find your trip rewarding.  I hope that the politicians appreciate the seriousness of the situations and begin to take action.  We must look to the near future for some concerns. Wow Dorothy! You never have been one to just sit around! I am proud of you on the Hybrid purchase.  We are actually thinking of going that way, too. Keep us posted on your travels across Canada.  We'll live vicariously through you. - Charles Black, 8/29/02

What a  wonderful trip you're going to be on, and what a marvelous mission.   I thank you on behalf of all the people who are concerned and worried about the environment. – Deet Lewis, 8/31/02

Good for you, Dorothy!  If more of us had the courage of our convictions that you have, you wouldn't have to be driving across the country to make a point.  Am reading 2030, and the guy sure can write.  Hopefully, he'll convince those in a position to actually do something.  So far, so many regard global warming as a joke at worst, and at best 'I don't have to worry - I won't be here'.  They forget their grandchildren, and I hope your mission will be a 'heads up' for them. Take care of yourself, drive well and eat wisely - there are so many of us riding on your coattails!  Godspeed. Elaine Anglin, 9/21/02

How are you doing? Looking forward to more news of the pilgrimage in the tiny car. Been talking about the history of speed limits, car size and gas prices with my kids quite a bit recently. And I am pleased to say, my eldest is getting the same kind of commentary from her science teacher! There is a new generation coming up so ready to implement sustainable solutions!- Elizabeth Petty, 10/13/02
